Basking sharks are the second-largest fish in the ocean, growing up to 40 feet long! Despite their size, they are filter feeders and pose no threat to humans, mainly consuming plankton by swimming with their mouths wide open. Unlike many other sharks, basking sharks are known for their slow, graceful swimming - no doubt taking their time to search for caches!
